The 2012 Fiat 500 Sport was evaluated to develop a baseline database of conventional (non-hybrid) vehicle technologies with which advanced technologies vehicles could be compared.  The vehicles tested during this program either serve as direct comparisons to advanced technology vehicles, or demonstrated unique design attributes which affected parameters such as:

• Fuel consumption
• Idle fuel flow requirements
• Powertrain efficiency
• Shifting patterns, and required gear ratios
• Implications from varying driver aggressiveness
