Activities in 2008 include:
- Analyze the steady-state and dynamic performance of low-temperature membrane automotive fuel cell systems with a goal of simplifying the system configuration to achieve a 2010 target cost of $45/kW
- Analyze the performanceof high-temperature membrane fuel cell systems
- Model the durability of stack components
- Develop models for the effects of fuel impurities and air contaminants on fuel cell performance.
