- CTR and EPA Collaborate to Test Vehicle Tie-Down Methods
Over 130 drive cycle tests were conducted with two vehicles as part of an EPA-initiated study to determine the effects of different vehicle tie-down methods utilized during dynamometer testing. - Flexible MATT Integrates, Tests, and Validates Advanced Vehicle Components
The Mobile Automotive Technology Testbed (MATT) serves as a unique Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) platform for advanced powertrain technology evaluation in an emulated vehicle environment. The importance of component models and the complexity involved in setting up optimized control laws require validation of the models and control strategies.
